Michele Lovi was born in Lucca in 1949.
He studied in Lucca and Florence, he paintings and exhibits since 1968.
His artistic career is strictly linked to his land and to his terrain. Lucca, her countryside and her landscapes. The soil, the terrain and all the materials on it, leaves, barks, plant-related materials.
Lovi brings these materials in the middle of his paintings, integrating them with the normal art material, pastels, temperas oils.
In 2016 and 2017 BessArte gallery has organized two solo exhibitions by Michele Lovi.
