A sunny day, a windy night: a solo exhibition by Michaela Kasparova.
A series of paintings on canvas. Some of them are without the wooden line and they are free to mix with the wall, as contemporary tapestries.
Michaela likes mixing emotions, animals, children, sensations. She plays with tales and legends, suggestions and melodies. She dances suspended between imaginary and surreal.
Her paintings are often disguised patworks, where paper, carboard, fabric hide behind the painting and sometimes strongly emerge.
In her paintings, Michaela mixes elements, material, techniques. She defines her art as a transformation of chaos in images, reminding about childhood and keeping in mind adulthood.
Michaela likes describing the adult life in a fairy way, always balancing between reality and fantasy.
Michaela was born il Liberec (Czech Republic) in 1967.
She studied art, drawing, oil painting, design in Liberec University.
She moved to Lucca in 1996, where she immediately started her artistic activity, exposing her art in Lucca and in many Italian and European towns.
